THE wife of former West Java Governor, Ridwan Kamil, Atalia Praratya uploaded an AI Hug video that is currently trending on social media. Atalia uploaded an AI Hug video between herself and her late first son, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz alias Eril on her personal Instagram account.
In the upload, a portrait of Atalia is seen wearing a pink hijab and hugging the late Eril who is wearing a white dress with a brown stripe on the chest. They hug while smiling.
“Oh my God, it feels real. Aa, mom misses me. Al fatihah,” Atalia wrote in the post.
The upload immediately received various responses from netizens, recorded as receiving 255 thousand likes in just 9 hours. Most of the netizens also prayed for Eril to rest in heaven.
As is known, AI Hug is an artificial intelligence technology that can make photos move and interact like hugging. This trend is currently being widely used in the social media world.
Eril, Ridwan Kamil’s eldest son, died on June 8, 2022 after drowning in the Aare River, Switzerland on May 26, 2022. Eril was reported missing while swimming with his sister, Camillia Laetitia Azzahra, and her friend in the Aare River.
After searching for about 14 days, Eril’s body was found by Swiss Police in the Engehalde Dam basin, not far from the Aare River. (Rif/M-4)
