Seville, Jul 3 (EFE).- Ricky Martin’s tour of Spain began twenty minutes before eleven o’clock at night. The Puerto Rican singer has 12 more dates on his agenda. He opened his tour in Seville as a continuation of his relationship with the city, which he got to know through its April Fair.
A quasi-love relationship between the singer and everything that the capital of Andalusia means to him, which tonight, on the stage of the Iconic SantaLucía Sevilla Fest, he recalled coincided in its genesis with the birth of ‘María’, in 1995, that song that, for him, is the song that they always ask him for, the one that everyone dances and sings at his concerts.
And for that reason, because he believes that Seville brought him luck almost 30 years ago, he wanted to start his tour of Spain in the south of the south, because “you are like a lucky charm,” he said on stage, confessing that he feels enchanted when he steps foot in this corner, because it was where “a divine relationship began between this Puerto Rican and you.” “Seville, how are you? An almost tropical night

It is a two-hour show with the best of someone who dominates Latin pop, dance, reggaeton and salsa, trying to bring together, and it is impossible, in a single night the best of a figure who has won more than 200 awards, including two Grammys, five Latin Grammys, and an impressive series of recognitions such as five MTV Video Music Awards, two American Music Awards, and three Latin American Music Awards, among many others.
And this has only just begun, because this Thursday the team, the artistic one at least, is taking a break, but on Friday they will perform in Murcia, on Saturday in Pozoblanco (Córdoba), and from there they will take to the roads and planes to be in A Coruña, Granada, Badajoz, Cádiz, Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Huesca, La Palma and Palma de Mallorca.
