Rick Scott will propose a project for the US to recognize Edmundo González as president-elect

This weekend the Republican Senator Rick Scott announced that he will present a project before the United States Senate so that his country recognizes Edmundo Gonzalez as president-elect of Venezuela.

Scott made the announcement during a rally in Miami on Saturday in response to the Call made by the opposition so that people around the world would gather to protest against the presidential election results given by the National Electoral Council (CNE), who proclaimed to Nicolas Maduro as a winner, as highlighted by El Nacional.
