Just in time for his 91st birthday, the legendary builder was able to celebrate once more following his cold, and on a grand scale. The invitation to Belvedere Palace was followed by family, companions, public figures and of course a dozen exes.
Richard Lugner is not only notorious as a guest – more precisely as an opera ball guest – but the host gene also runs in his veins. After pneumonia left him confined to bed, he was back on his feet in time for his 91st birthday and invited family, friends, ex-girlfriends and personalities from politics, culture and church to the gala dinner at Belvedere Palace.

Ex-wife Christian Ligner led the evening, cathedral priest Toni Faber said a prayer and Thomas Tatzl thrilled the audience with his stage appearance.
