«We were a poor family – he explains -, there was a scent of poverty.
But when Christmas came and there was singing they made me sit in the front row. Dad had been in the war, but had a very low pension. My mother, on the other hand, always managed to make ends meet, and I say this with joy. We never went hungry, she invented everything.”

«I obtained my high school diploma for my mother. She was upset that I wasn’t an accountant. I told her “get well and I’ll get my high school diploma”, then she disappeared shortly thereafter.” But in any case he wanted to achieve maturity for her.
Then his daughter and wife enter the studio Karin Trentini. Today Karin is 45 years old (born in 1979) and married Riccardo Fogli in 2010, who is now 76 years old (born in 1947). The two have a significant age difference: 31 years, a relationship that has caused a lot of chatter. «At 16 I decided: he is the man of my life» says Silvia Toffanin.
