After the first presidential debate took place on April 7, businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego sent a message to the presidential candidates.
Through the X platform, the founder of Grupo Salinas launched sarcastic criticism towards the participating candidates, focusing on their proposals and promises.
In his characteristic ironic tone, the owner of TV Azteca summarized the proposals of the presidential candidates, highlighting the apparent promise of giving away money and the ease with which it is suggested to solve national problems. He ridiculed the idea of solving all problems with social programs, proposing absurdities such as a minimum wage of “100,000 pesos” and a work day of only “3 hours from Monday to Thursday.”
