The Major League Soccer consistently supplies talent to European clubs, and now forward Ricardo Pepi joins the German Bundesliga with Augsburg in 2022.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Mexican-American player will depart FC Dallas after a deal was finalized, transferring him to the German club for $20 million, plus potential performance-based incentives.

Pepi and his representative are en route to Munich for a medical evaluation and physical examination before officially signing with Augsburg, the team that secured his services after attracting significant attention.

Ricardo, just 18 years old, began his professional career with FC Dallas in 2019, netting his first goal for the club on March 7, 2020, against CF Montréal.

The striker from El Paso, Texas, holds dual Mexican-American citizenship and represented Mexico at youth levels, but ultimately chose to play for the United States national team, debuting on September 8th against Honduras, scoring in that match.
