Pepi and his representative are en route to Munich for a medical evaluation and physical examination before officially signing with Augsburg, the team that secured his services after attracting significant attention.
Ricardo, just 18 years old, began his professional career with FC Dallas in 2019, netting his first goal for the club on March 7, 2020, against CF Montréal.
The striker from El Paso, Texas, holds dual Mexican-American citizenship and represented Mexico at youth levels, but ultimately chose to play for the United States national team, debuting on September 8th against Honduras, scoring in that match.
