Rhône. Panic in the sky: a Boeing 737 urgently diverted between Constantine and Lyon

New bad publicity for the manufacturer Boeing. One of its aircraft, an Air Algérie 737 connecting Constantine to Lyon, had to be urgently diverted and returned to its departure airport after a technical incident this Sunday, August 25, as evidenced by a video taken by a passenger and relayed by the sites Observatory Algeria et Visa & Travel Algeria.

“A problem” and oxygen masks

It shows oxygen masks being deployed for passengers, with the person filming explaining that “the Air Algérie team is really doing a good job with the passengers.” “The plane encountered a problem when we had already crossed the land borders. But fortunately, it was able to return to Constantine,” she explains in a second video relayed by TSA-Algeria.

On the site Flight Aware we can actually see the trajectory of this flight AH1460, which left at 9 a.m. this Sunday before turning around over the Mediterranean and returning to Constantine at 11:50 a.m.

Finally, the plane took off again at 8:45 p.m., landing at Lyon Saint-Exupéry at 11:05 p.m.
