If you think the caricatured car in these pictures looks like it was made for a video game, then you are right. It was this idea that Ferris Rezvani, the founder and owner of the Californian company Rezvani, had that idea, which began with the creation of supercars, but then gradually switched to the production of monstrous SUVs. The new Rezvani Vengeance has become the flagship of the range, and the Bulgarian designer Milen Ivanov, who creates 3D models of cars for video games, worked on its appearance.
Vengeance (in English “revenge”) is built on the basis of a frame SUV Cadillac Escalade, but the exterior body panels are completely new. The length at once increased by 206 mm (up to 5588 mm), and the increase in width – 176 mm (up to 2235 mm). The glazing area has been significantly reduced, 22-inch wheels and steel bumpers are standard. Additional LED spotlights are installed on the roof and the leading edge of the hood, and they can be switched to the brightest mode – to “dazzle the enemy.”
Oh, numerous spy options have become Rezvani’s strong point, and for the Vengeance model they offer a whole set that even the on-screen James Bond will envy. Among them are door handles with a built-in stun gun, a smoke screen, a thermal imager, a tear gas sprayer, EMI protection and a built-in siren. You can order an armored version, and the kit will also include personal protective equipment for passengers – bulletproof vests, helmets and gas masks.
Against the background of this madness, the interior of the car looks ordinary: it is the same as the original Cadillac, but with different logos on the steering wheel and seats. Rezvani comes standard with all the options that Escalade can be equipped with: seat ventilation, head-up display, advanced audio system and so on.
The motors are also standard: aspirated V8 6.2 (426 hp) or turbodiesel 3.0 (281 hp) in tandem with a ten-speed automatic. Although it is possible to order a V8 6.2 compressor engine with a power of 700 hp, as in an extreme modification Escalade-V. Suspension – with adjustable shock absorbers Magnetic Ride.
Rezvani is already accepting orders for “revenge” with a $1,500 non-refundable deposit. The starting price is 249 thousand dollars, for the compressor motor you need to add 85 thousand. A Vengeance with all the proposed options, including armor, will cost 600 thousand dollars. Living machines will appear next year.
