The history of the siege of Montauban relates the fact that the negotiations for it to end were carried out at the Château de Reyniès.
As part of the European Heritage Days which take place on September 17 and 18, the municipality of Reyniès and the events department of the city of Montauban, in the continuity of the 400th anniversary festivities of the 400 blows, are organizing an exceptional evening open to all, on the banks of the Tarn, Saturday 17 September. From 7 p.m., continuous projection of a luminous fresco on a giant screen and background music relating this event and the siege of Montauban. At 8 p.m., meals by reservation on 05 63 30 53 43 (aperitif, charcuterie, sausage rougail, apple crisp, coffee and wine included) at the price of 15 euros per person and 10 € per child under 12 years old. To close this evening, a fireworks display will be fired from the Reyniès bridge.
Possible withdrawal to the village hall for the catering part if the weather is not favorable.
In addition, on Saturday and Sunday, as part of heritage days, the Art Deco 1930 association offers visits to the particular buildings of Reyniès and its 140 Art Deco 1930 style houses.
