“Until now, these neighborhoods were oriented towards mainly automobile mobility, but for several years, the Flemish government has wanted to increase the number of cycle paths. The budget planned for this bridge amounts to 11.7 million euros but in total, we will invest 300 million euros for 115 km of cycle paths“, explains Marijn Struyf, spokesperson for De Werkvenootschap, the Flemish agency responsible for mobility in the periphery.
