The hospitality industry in Bali is experiencing rapid growth along with the increasing number of tourist visits. This increase encourages employers to continue to adapt in order to achieve better quality standards and welfare for workers.

Understanding this need, one of the insurance companies in Indonesia, PT Avrist Assurance in collaboration with the Human Resources Association (HRA) Bali held the HR Convention 2024 (HRCON 2024) in Nusa Dua, Bali at the end of August. Carrying the theme Embracing Future Role of People Experience Management & Human Development Strategiesthe event was attended by hundreds of HR practitioners from Bali and surrounding areas.

On that occasion, Avrist Assurance was present as the main speaker represented by VP of Pension Avrist Assurance, Firmansyah, and VP of Employee Benefit Avrist Assurance, Dolly Baryn Ritonga. Also present was Vira Risnayani as Chairperson of HRA Bali.

In his presentation, Firmansyah explained the role Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in the life insurance industry which has helped improve the efficiency of various operational processes and added customer experience become better and more accurate to achieve long-term company stability and growth.

“With RPA, processes that were previously time-consuming and prone to errors human errorsuch as customer data processing and claims processing can now be done faster and more accurately. This not only reduces operational costs, but also helps detect and prevent indications of fraud,” explained Firmansyah.

In addition, RPA also allows insurance companies to provide more responsive services to customers in terms of claims processing or providing policy information. “For this reason, Avrist Assurance always adapts to technological developments so that customers get better service,” he continued.
