In terms of food, the stakes are well known: to feed 10 billion inhabitants in 2050 while respecting planetary limits. Many start-ups are working on technologies to solve this equation. A new fund launched in Geneva invests in young, already established companies that are targeting the large agribusiness market. These start-ups are not looking to produce the meatless steak of tomorrow, but to provide sustainable ingredients or production optimization technologies.
