If you’ve been looking for a radical way to get around town, the Traqpod might just be the solution for you. Known for making boards that are designed to carve (i.e. basically surf in an S-shaped pattern), the company is now giving the latest version of its board the electric treatment. Dubbed the Traqpod 3 Electric, the board has an electric motor, is also a regenerative brake that says to put some juice back into the battery, plus it has LED lights on the front and back of the board so people know when you’re coming. It will also offer a choice of one of three motor options, these being the more powerful dual drive with two motors, the single drive with one motor, or the “you drive” motorless riffle, which is basically just a skateboard. As of now, Traqpod isn’t fully selling the electric version of the board, as it’s currently looking for backers as part of a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of the gadget. It has achieved around 50 per cent of its overall target of £30,000 so far, with 26 days left in the campaign. Here is an ad:
