The UK Medicines and Health Products Regulator (MHRA) has approved the roll-out of the subcutaneous injection of atezolizumab (or Tecentriq), a monoclonal antibody that can treat certain cancers in the UK, the newspaper reports. British The Guardian.

An injunction thus only lasts a few minutes, compared to thirty or even an hour by intravenous route. It will thus reduce the cancer treatment time by up to three-quarters thanks to atezolizumab. The drug “Tecentriq” treats various cancers such as lung, liver, breast, and bladder cancer.

The NHS will be the first health system to roll out the treatment to hundreds of patients. It is already given intravenously to around 3,600 patients in England every year.
