There have been statements by a senior commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards that Iran could move ahead with a review of its “nuclear doctrine” amid Israeli threats.
Ahmad Khaktalab, head of the Nuclear Protection Corps, which operates within the Revolutionary Guards, also stated that the Iran has identified Israel’s nuclear facilities and has a “hand on the trigger” to target them if the Israel attack Iran’s nuclear facilities.
According to the protothema, Hakhtalab assured that Iran is “ready to face any threat” from Israel “using passive defense plans as well as highly advanced facilities and equipment and due to the dispersion of our country’s nuclear complexes and facilities.”
