It should rain on the Cointrin tarmac on Wednesday. But we will be far from the storm that the unions feared in April, when the airport announced that the concession of the Emirati group Dnata, in ground handling for aircraft, would not be renewed.
The news had the effect of a bombshell because Dnata has been active on the platform for a long time, since 1993, and its approximately 600 employees did not know what sauce they would be in for with this transfer. Its replacement, the smaller Belgian group Aviapartner, had also seen its reputation tarnished by strikes in several neighboring countries.
