Haute-Sarine » In Treyvaux, the Favorol Papaux site might experience a new destiny. Owner of the land which houses the former window and blind factory, the Banque Cantonale de Friborg (BCF) has decided to take the bull by the horns. The banking institution mandated the company HRS, specialized in the development of real estate projects, to develop a Detailed Development Plan (PAD) for the entire area of nearly 20,000 m2 located in the heart of the village.
According to information given at the last municipal meeting, a project combining housing and activities might see the light of day. “These studies aim to show the potential of the site. In consultation with the municipality, we decided to take charge of this planning phase, with the aim of finding a buyer. Because our aim is not to promote real estate,” explains Christine Carrard, spokesperson for the BCF.
