Revenue up 14% in the first half

This level of activity results from the evolution of the following main elements:

containerized traffic reached a volume of 1,023 thousand TEUs, up 13% compared to the first half of 2021.

– Transshipment container traffic amounted to 518 thousand TEUs, showing an increase of 42% compared to June 30, 2021;

– domestic traffic recorded an increase of 8% in the second quarter once morest a drop of 14% for the first quarter of 2022, which made it possible to limit its drop to 7% for the first half of 2022 with recorded traffic of 505 thousands of TEUs.

bulk traffic and miscellaneous increased by 4% to 14.2 MT. Liquid bulk traffic stood at 5.2 MT, marking an increase of 16% which is explained by the increase in imports of fuel oil, gasoline and kerosene. Solid bulk traffic stood at 7.6 MT, thus marking a 5% drop due to the withdrawal of cereal traffic (delay in imports following the rise in international prices) and fertilizers (unfavorable rainfall).

Consolidated turnover stood at 1,993 MDH as of June 30, 2022, up 14% compared to turnover at the end of June 2021, which was 1,742 MDH. In Q2 alone, revenue is 1 billion dirhams, up 11% compared to Q2 2021.

* INVESTMENT

The consolidated investments committed by the Group at the end of June 2022 amounted to 156 million dirhams and mainly concern the acquisition of various operating equipment.

*INDEBTEDNESS

The Group reduced its net debt at the end of June 2022 to 954 MDH (compared to 1251 MDH in H1 2021). This debt is made up of 2,638 MDH of financing debts and 1,683 MDH of cash.
