Revenu Québec Extends Filing Date for Tax Obligations Due to Online Service Outage

Quebec, February 29, 2024. – In order to allow businesses affected by the temporary outage of some of its online services that occurred today to comply with their tax obligations, Revenu Québec is postponing the filing date for obligations related to the following:

  • QST and GST/HST;
  • the tax on insurance premiums;
  • the specific tax on alcoholic beverages;
  • the specific duty on new tires;
  • the summary of withholdings at source;
  • tax statements;
  • the fee linked to paid passenger transport.

Regarding payments, there will be no consequences for people who were not able to make them on February 29, 2024 and who make them on March 1, 2024.

Revenu Québec would like to reassure those affected by this situation and would like to offer them its support.
