Revealing the presence of more than 8,000 children living illegally in the country, the authorities took strict action

It has been revealed that there are more than 8,000 children residing illegally in the country, whose parents did not register them after birth.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has asked foreign nationals who have violated residency laws to amend it using the deadline of 1st Sambar.

According to Kuwaiti media, security sources say that parents who do not register their newborns are guilty of violating the country’s law.

In this regard, sources further say that there are a large number of immigrants with children in the country who have not informed the Ministry of Interior about their status to complete their residency procedures.

Such persons were content to obtain a birth certificate only to avoid paying residence and insurance fees or because the father of the child was involved in a violation of the residence law.

Due to lack of data registration and electronic communication with Ministry of Health and Ministry of Interior, such a child is guilty of violation of residency law.

Security sources said that during the last period 8,000 children were registered whose parents registered them five years after their birth. I have financial problems.

The parents further said that when the children turn five years old, we have to force them to modify their status for admission to school.
