Revealing Salah’s salary .. double what 4 Liverpool stars receive

The British newspaper “The Sun” revealed on Tuesday the salaries of Liverpool players, as the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah leads the list by a large margin over his closest pursuer, the Dutch Virgil van Dijk, and twice what 4 of his important teammates receive.

Mohamed Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool last July to keep him at Anfield until 2025, while his partner in the Senegalese attack line, Sadio Mane, chose to leave for Bayern Munich, to put the new contract Salah at the top of the northern club’s salary ceiling.

According to the report, the English Premier League top scorer gets 350 thousand pounds a week, equivalent to 18.2 million pounds.

The Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk succeeded Mohamed Salah with a salary less than a third of what the Egyptian star receives, as he receives 220,000 pounds.

Behind Van Dijk, Spaniard Thiago Alcantara is in third place, with a salary of 200,000 pounds.

Salah receives a weekly salary that is double what 4 stars of the team receive: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Fabinho, who each receive 180,000 pounds.

The salary of Darwin Nunez, the most expensive player in the history of Liverpool, is 179,000 pounds per week, while goalkeeper Alisson Becker gets 150,000 pounds per week.
