According to the data of that certification, there is a 15% increase in the capacity of the AirPods, since its battery now integrates a capacity of 49,7 mAhcompared to the 43.24 mAh we saw in previous generation batteries.
On the other hand, the internal battery of the AirPods 2 Pro charging case reaches 523 mAh of capacity, unlike the 519 mAh that the original AirPods Pro charging case has.
Thanks to these small increases in the capacities of their batteries, in addition to the optimizations made to the new H2 chip, the AirPods 2 Pro offer an hour and a half more autonomy when listening to music with active noise cancellation, unlike the 4.5 hours offered by the first generation AirPods Pro.
