Russian tourists were given recommendations on how to return money for a paid tour to Israel. Details were provided by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development in connection with the fighting in the country.
“It is necessary to send a request to terminate the contract or change it to the tour operator. In such a statement, which is sent to the tour operator to the official email address or to the legal address of the company, reference should be made to Article 14, Article 132 of the Federal Law “On the Fundamentals of Tourism Activities in the Russian Federation” and the recommendations of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia,” – clarified in the post representatives of departments.
According to the department, if the tour operator does not communicate for some reason, you can file a claim with the court. In this case, it is necessary to refer to Article 14, Article 132 of the Federal Law “On the Fundamentals of Tourism Activities in the Russian Federation” and the recommendations of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
Previously recommended to Russians refrain from traveling to Israel for tourism purposes until the situation in the country returns to normal. According to information from diplomatic sources, the evacuation of Russian citizens is not yet planned.
