Square Enix officially announced its new SRPG ‘Tactics Ogre: Ribbon’ on the 4th. ‘Tactics Ogre’, which made a name for itself as a SRPG legend in the 90s, will once once more find users through the latest devices.
‘Tactics Ogre: Ribbon’ is a new work that adds a modern touch to ‘Tactics Ogre: Wheel of Destiny’, a remake of the first series ‘Tactics Ogre’ released in 1995. As it is a well-known SRPG masterpiece that represents Square Enix to this day, the game has been reborn twice in 1995, then in 2010 and 2022, looking for fans.
Through the official announcement of the game, in-game information, visuals, trailers, etc. were also revealed. The in-game system will continue the original strategy battle and multi-story/ending system, while providing improved battle AI, an improved level management system and UI reorganization, and BGM recreated from actual performances.
In the in-game screenshots, where you can see the improved visuals, the classic pixel art nostalgia remains, and you can see the very neatly recreated graphics, high resolution, and character illustrations.
Meanwhile, ‘Tactics Ogre: Ribbon’ is scheduled to be released on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on November 11th, and the PC (Steam) version is scheduled to be released on the 12th.
