The remembered novel of “Pedro el escamoso”, which reached more than 100 countries following its premiere in 2001, will have its sequel more than 20 years following its first broadcast. This was announced by Caracol Televisión in a statement in which it was confirmed that the new series is in the production process and can be seen in Latin America, thanks to an alliance with Disney+.

The series, which will be broadcast in 2024, will once once more feature the leading role of actor Miguel Varoni, who plays Pedro Coral. The new story will narrate his return to Colombia following several years, where he might meet the woman who made him sigh, Paula Dávila, a role played by actress Sandra Reyes.
