Kuwait announced the daily expenses of domestic workers returning from 34 embargoed countries.

Due to the corona epidemic in Kuwait, the domestic workers who return from the banned countries will have to undergo quarantine on their return, for which 30 Kuwaiti dinars per day has been announced institutionally.

Meanwhile, the decision of the Council of Ministers to remove the ban from the banned countries is being eagerly awaited, for this Kuwait Airways and Al Jazira Airways have also announced that flights on their behalf Restoration preparations have been completed.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Kuwait and the Ministers also held a detailed meeting with the Board of Directors of the two airlines, Ali Muhammad Al-Dukhan and Marwan Boudia, on Saturday in this regard. On the other hand, the announcement of the Ministry of Health is also being awaited that the medical staff is now fully prepared after screening and tracking thousands of foreign workers.

Institutional Quarantine says they are ready for domestic workers, the daily cost will not exceed 30 Kuwaiti dinars, including three meals a day for a period of 14 days. It will be reduced to half.

Regarding airline tickets to embargoed countries, sources say the government does not want to impose any additional burden on workers, the existing costing system is fair and balanced, but as usual the prices are slightly increased. However, there is a possibility of a slight increase.

It should be noted that the cost of domestic workers returning to Kuwait includes the cost of tickets, the cost of institutional quarantine, and the cost of PCR tests. It should be noted that in the decision that has just been taken for domestic workers, they have been exempted from the PCR test fee.
