TecToy participates in Retrocon with a museum of old brand products for the nostalgic public

TecToy, an innovative company that has been offering electronic products in Brazil since the 1980s, participates in Retrocon, an event dedicated to fans that brings together games from the 1990s for nostalgic audiences. The meeting will be at the Pro Magno Events Center, on the 29th and 30th of July, from 10 am to 7 pm. The company’s goal is to maintain a connection with people who have the brand as a fond memory of their childhood and adolescence.
In addition, the company is presenting at Retrocon its new electronics portfolio, including a line of computers, headphones, speakers and accessories, available for sale on site.
The brand will have two stands during the event. One of them will feature a small museum with old TecToy products, located at Rua L4 e 5. Among the equipment on display will be: DreamCast; SegaCD kit; Light-Phaser; Think carefully; Million Show; Monica – the rescue; MDPlay; Master System; Starlet; Ted Bear and Atari. In addition, a fan area will be in place so that visitors can play Atari during the activities.
The second space, located on Rua E3, will be aimed at sales, with products from the new portfolio that include: Pensa Bem computer line with notebook, mini PC and tablet, headphones and speakers with Bluetooth connection, consoles and videogames.
Link with retro games
“TecToy has an organic connection with the universe of retro games, as it was responsible for bringing them to Brazil at the end of the 90s. During Retrocon 2023, we are practically going to build a time tunnel, searching in the memory of many fans how they had fun and grew up in the world of electronic games. Our responsibility is very big in this agenda, but fans will also see TecToy’s new phase with new electronic products and new lines of business. We are working on new projects for our gamers and we want to bring more news soon”, explains the CEO of TecToy, Valdeni Rodrigues.
Rental environment at Retrocon
Retrocon will have a rental environment, with arcades and arcades, in addition to offering video games by the hour, championships, exhibitions and a stage with the participation of voice actors, interviews and even a stand-up show.
