Results Paris Marathon 2024: victory for Mulugeta Uma

It was the Ethiopian Mulugeta Uma who won this Sunday April 7 in the 47th edition of the Paris marathon. All results can be found here.

2h05’33 is the time achieved by the Ethiopian Mulegata Uma this Sunday April 7 in the Paris marathon. The 26-year-old athlete won the longest distance for the first time and broke his personal best. He was able to get ahead of the favorites including Titus Kiprutodropped 2.5km from the finish but author of a thunderous comeback which took second place in 2h05’48. Elisha Rotichreturning to the discipline after two years of absence, took third place.

In the absence of the best French people in the discipline, all focused on the Paris Olympics marathon next August, it is Adrien Toucas who ranks first French by finishing the race in 2h17’06. Aixois takes a good 12th place.

Women’s sprint victory

Big duel between Ethiopian runners among women. Mistawut Fikir and Enat Tirusew fought a fierce battle to win the race. It is the first named who finally wins in 2h20’45.

More than 50,000 competitors set off this morning from the top of the Champs-Élysées to take part in this 47th edition of the Paris marathon.
