As part of the organization of competitions on sanitation and cleanliness in the 35 Pre-collection and Sanitation Zones (ZPS) of the Urban Commune of Agadez and between the 34 Hygiene and Sanitation Management Committees (COGEHA ) of the Urban Commune of Arlit, the authorities of the two communes presented prizes to the three best performing ZPS and COGEHA for the first month (February).
As a reminder, these competitions take place over a period of five (05) months, in particular from February 1 to June 30, 2023, at the level of these two Communes. At the end of each month, the three (3) areas declared the cleanest will be rewarded through bonuses in each of the two municipalities. And at the end of the five (05) months of competition, two (2) special prizes will be awarded to the best ZPS/COGEHA in each municipality.
Thus during the first month of competition, the operators of the SPAs and COGEHA demonstrated a clear commitment and recorded very satisfactory results within the framework of health and awareness-raising operations on hygiene and sanitation in their respective areas as evidenced below (in attachments) the results and images of the work.
For the second phase of the competition, we invite all COGHEA and ZPS to invest more in health, cleanliness and awareness of populations in their respective territories in order to be among the next winners.
