UEFA European Football Championship 2024, July 6: All matches results, EURO standings

On July 6, the last two quarter-final matches of the European Football Championship were played in Germany.

The first game of the day in Dusseldorf was between England and Switzerland. The regular and extra time ended with a score of 1:1. Breel Embolo scored for Switzerland, while Bukayo Saka scored for England. Gareth Southgate’s team was more accurate in the penalty shootout – 5:3.

The second game of the day in Berlin featured the Netherlands and Turkey. The Dutch won a strong-willed victory with a score of 2:1. The scoring in the match was opened by the Turkish national team player Samet Akaydin (35th minute). In the second half, Stefan de Vrij (70) scored for the Netherlands, and the fate of the match was decided by an own goal by the Turkish footballer Mert Müldur (76).

England will play the Netherlands in the semi-finals of EURO 2024. France and Spain will meet in the other semi-final.
