Results from the World Athletics Championships in Budapest: Gold for Greece’s Miltadis Tentaglu and Holland’s Femke Boll

Budapest: India’s Jeswin Aldrin disappointed in the men’s long jump final of the World Athletics Championships. Jesvin finished 11th with a distance of 7.77 meters. Greece’s Miltadis Tentaglu won gold with a jump of 8.52m. Tentaglu is a seasonal best.

Jamaica’s Wayne Pincock won the silver with a jump of 8.50m and Tajai Gayle won the bronze with a jump of 8.27m. Holland’s Femke Boll won gold in the women’s 400m hurdles. Femke became the first runner-up with a time of 51.70 seconds. Shamir Little of the US took silver in 52.80 seconds.

Jamaica’s Russell Clayton took the bronze in 52.81 seconds. Jamaica’s Antonio Watson tops the men’s 400m in 44.22 seconds. Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith won silver in 44.31 seconds and US’s Quincy Hall bronze in 44.37 seconds.

Daniela Williams won gold in the women’s 100m hurdles with a seasonal best of 12.43 seconds. Jasmine Camcho Quinn of Puerto Rico took silver in 12.44 seconds and Kendra Harrison of the US took bronze in 12.46 seconds. Camryn Rogers finished first in the women’s hammer throw with a throw of 77.22 meters. Janie Cassanoid of the U.S. won silver in 76.36 seconds and Deanna Price took bronze in 75.41 seconds.
