Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications reports that District No. 5 completed the rehabilitation of local roads in the department of Caaguazú. The works were carried out in 10 sections of the cities of Caaguazú, RI 3 Corrales, Juan Manuel Frutos, Yhú and JD Ocampos, strengthening the connection between these populations.
The project incorporated 104 kilometers of roads, displaced 400 cubic meters of material and enabled 245,000 linear meters of drainage on the roads of the aforementioned communities.
In RI 3 Corrales, the intervention reached three sectors: 10 Tovatiry Street, while in Caaguazú: Ñurumí-Mboi Ka’e-Capitán Kué and the Palma-Apepytú route. The restoration included platform conditioning and ditch sanitation, displacing 96 cubic meters of material. Section 10 Tovatiry added grading for 7.5 kilometers.
The renovation in Juan Manuel Frutos included San Jorge Street and the Ykua Pora settlement, where leveling and structuring of drainage was carried out in extensions of 10 and 8 kilometers. The San Miguel Takurú-San Cayetano sector included rehabilitation of 64 kilometers of base and transfer of 85 cubic meters of material.
In Yhú, the actions focused on the 2nd Kue Depot Line, preparing ditches for 7.5 kilometers. For JD Ocampos, 64 kilometers of Calle Alegre were recovered, and on the Paraguarí-San Francisco-San Cayetano route, the displacement of 80 cubic meters of material was completed.
