Restaurant manager threw boiling water on two customers because they complained about their food | World

A woman and her 16-year-old niece sued a fast-food restaurant chain following the manager of one of its branches poured boiling water on them because they complained regarding an incomplete order.

The incident occurred on June 17, in Dallas, United States, when the victims received an incorrect order for self-service. They asked twice for it to be changed, but the business workers did not do so, so they decided to get out of the car to claim at the register.
Once inside the restaurant, the workers refused to correct the order; however, the manager of the establishment came out and poured a bucket of boiling water on the woman and the minor.

The victims sued the restaurant chain for a million dollars, alleging that they were left with serious burns on their bodies. Following the incident, the women were rushed to a hospital.

The minor suffered burns to the face, chest, legs and arms. According to the lawsuit, the adult woman also suffered burns to her chest and abdomen, as well as brain injuries, as the attack triggered multiple seizures.
For its part, the Dallas Police Department announced that it has opened an investigation into this incident.
