“How can we not also think of children who are victims of sexual abuse or forced adoption, a painful reality which has come to light in recent weeks following the poignant testimonies of victims. These invite us not only to compassion but also to a resolute commitment to respect the dignity of every human person, starting with the smallest and most vulnerable, such as children”, affirmed the Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels during the midnight mass which was held in the Cathedral of Saints-Michel-et-Gudule in Brussels.
