Respawn (Titanfall) is developing a new single-player FPS in the Apex universe

Respawn, the studio behind Titanfall and Jedi: Fallen Order, is reportedly working on a new single-player FPS set in the world of Apex Legends.

It is in any case what the site tells us Dexerto who spotted job postings at Respawn for an “FPS in the Apex Legends universe.” And it doesn’t stop there, since it would be a single-player adventure game. information that would coincide with another similar project which we heard regarding last year through, once more, job postings:

The author of the tweet, Mohammad Alavi, was then the creative director of the software before submitting his resignation. However, development has not been stopped and still seems to be on track. A report of GamesBeat also claimed that, despite rumors, this is not a sequel to Titan case. Hard blow for the fans.

However, this does not mean that the two projects are linked. Respawn may very well have several separate single-player games in the works and this is where things get interesting.

A new Titanfall approaching?

Let’s be crazy, let’s imagine that this new FPS is in truth the next Titanfall (if it’s not the second project we talked regarding previously). In truth, it’s not so crazy when you know thatApex Legends should have originally been the third installment of the license .

However, originally titan case 3 was to take the form of a Battle Royale and not a single-player game, but the track is still not to be ruled out, especially since the two licenses are placed in the same universe. The development might have simply risen from the ashes to take a new direction.

So are we dealing with two new games in the universe of Apex Legends and Titanfall? The mystery remains intact and we hope to get an answer from Respawn soon.
