Dubai: UAE with ‘Homeland for All’ campaign to solve visa problems. The three-day campaign is being organized by the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA). The campaign will be organized from today till twenty-seventh at Dayta City Centre.
The campaign will provide an opportunity to resolve visa issues including expired visas. It is hoped that the campaign will provide a solution to the problems faced by residents, visitors and tourists who are facing visa issues. The GDRFA explains that the campaign will provide an opportunity to resolve visa-related issues while continuing to stay in the country even following the expiry of the visa. The program will also allow residents who are unsure regarding the validity of their visa to check the validity of their permit using their passport.
Those facing visa issues should participate in the campaign without fear. Colonel Salem Bin Ali, Director of the Client Happiness Department at GDRFA, explains that the program can propose a solution to those who have stayed in the country for ten years following the visa period. The UAE law stipulates that a fine of AED 50 can be levied for each day of stay in the country following the visa expires. GDRFA officials will be involved throughout the three-day campaign.
