Pending issues were resolved during a new meeting between the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, and educational unions, held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the National Training and Forum Center in Rabat.
The meeting, which was devoted to completing the downloading of the provisions of the new statute for national education employees, which have not yet been downloaded, was confirmed by the National Education Union, which is affiliated with the Democratic Federation for Labor, that a decision had been made in the teachers’ file in August 2009 and March 2011, after the approval of the Ministry of Finance, and a correction would be approved. Their administrative status is without the financial impact so that they can benefit from this seniority in the 2023 promotion.
The cost of settling the casual professors file was also set at 113 million, provided that this file is settled within the coming months.
Regarding the 4,700 contract professors whose wages decreased due to the change in the academy, it was agreed to address this matter with the relevant departments in the near future.
