“We will win the war with technology. If you have a start-up idea, come forward!” These are the words that Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, addresses the crowd of entrepreneurs seated in the classy red armchairs of the Opera House in Lviv, a city in western Ukraine .
In the “Lion City”, the IT Arena, a major high-tech event in Central Europe, is in full swing. At the beginning of October, for three days, 3,000 Ukrainian and international entrepreneurs, investors and executives discussed the future of Ukrainian tech. And following more than eighteen months of war, “resilience” and “support for our men on the front” are on everyone’s lips.
