Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin dismissed the city government. The previous composition will remain in effect until the new one is formed.
“I announce the resignation of the Moscow government. I instruct the Moscow government to exercise its powers until a new composition is formed,” follows from the decree signed by Sergei Sobyanin. In addition, the mayor of Moscow dismissed the heads of the city’s executive authorities. The document was published on official website of the mayor of Moscow.
On the same day, Sobyanin officially took office as mayor of Moscow following the elections. He noted that he will continue to improve the city and support the well-being of its residents, reports RT.
