The resignation of the Minister of Social Development, Giorgio Jackson, does not dilute the climate of tension between the Government and the opposition. The former Secretary of State was forced to leave his position following political pressure and accusations of being linked to the Agreements Case, which has already caused the departure of three other authorities.
