The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums and the Ministry of Digital Development organized visits of 2 mobile groups to provide public service centers on the ground to residents of Samarkandek, Ak-Tatyr and Ak-Sai ayil aimaks, where elections to local keneshes will be held. This was reported by the press service of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“As part of the preparation and conduct of elections of deputies to local keneshes, on February 28 and March 1, Nurzhan Shaildabekova, Chairperson of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a series of meetings with residents of Samarkandek, Ak-Tatyr and Ak-Sai ayyl keneshes of Batken district of Batken region.
During the meeting, the local population voiced that due to the workload of the Population Service Center of the Batken region, they are experiencing difficulties in timely registration, re-registration of their place of residence, exchange of a passport, biometric registration for inclusion in the voter list, updating data on registration of residence in the passport chip.
In this regard, 2 mobile groups of 5 specialists were organized, including CEC employees, who from March 4 to March 10 will provide services for registering biometric data, accepting documents for the exchange of a passport, registration at the place of permanent residence (propiska), obtaining a cloud electronic signature.
In mobile public service centers it will also be possible to receive information and consultations from CEC employees on the upcoming elections to local keneshes.
