Residents of Concepción received specialized health services during Government Day

Asunción, IP Agency.- This Thursday, April 18, a government day took place in the municipality of Paso Barreto, department of Concepción, which included vaccinations once morest covid-19, dental care, clinics, nutrition and other specialties.

The day was organized by the National Government through the First Health Region of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare, with support from the Government headed by Liz Meza and the pulp company from the Paracel area.

In addition, the Department of Identifications, Civil Registry, ANDE, Essap, Ersan, Sinafocal, Senepa, National Police, Senad, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Children and Adolescents, Ministry of Urban Planning and Housing provided services to citizens; Directorate of Animal Welfare, Petropar and Diben.

These same services are planned for Friday, April 19, at the same time from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Virgen de Fátima Community Center in the city of Belén, in this department.

More than 180 health services were provided in this northern area within the framework of inter-institutional work, which included clinical, gynecological and dental consultations. These works are carried out throughout the week.

There were also 2 prenatal check-ups, 25 gynecological care and 49 pediatric consultations. During the day, 24 vaccines were administered and 29 dental consultations were carried out.

This activity was used to hold talks on family planning and the importance of having a Papanicolaou (PAP) test. This joint activity was carried out with Paracel, the Departmental Government, the Family Health Units and the First Health Region, as reported by the DG of Communication of the MSP and BS.
