Residents of Arias Blanco demand a solution to the sewage dump

Residents of the main avenue of Limón, between the El Piñal and El Porvenir alleys in the Arias Blanco sector in the Mario Briceño Iragorry municipality of the state of Aragua, reported that sewage is once again in the streets.

They said that although the mayor’s office repaired the leak, with the recent rains a manhole collapsed, causing “the putrid waters to overflow.” They indicated that the situation directly affects several families.

Maritza Salazar, resident in the areastated that they also faced a situation with a tree of the Merecure species that is very close to the El Manguito canal.

“That tree has burnt branches and its base is in a highly brittle state.”

He said that several branches have fallen so far, but they want to avoid “a disaster” because there are some larger ones that are on top of the high-tension cables and could harm the inhabitants of the area.

“All the plant debris has accumulated under the bridge and has blocked it, thank God nothing bad happened,” he said.
