On Thursday morning, Capcom announced that alongside the launch of the PS VR2 on February 22, 2023the immersive mode Resident Evil Village VR will be offered for free to those who own the original game on PS5.
The VR mode supports the entire campaign and will give the player a new angle of Ethan Winters’ adventure. VR mode uses 4K HDR display, eye tracking and 3D audio to render Resident Evil Village more realistic and intense than ever.
“Immerse yourself in the richly detailed atmosphere of the village in virtual reality, including the ornate chambers of Dimitrescu Castle, and prepare to feel truly overshadowed by the larger-than-life characters and creatures that lurk there,” perhaps read in the press release.
In addition to entering the world of Resident Evil Village With the PlayStation VR2 headset, gamers will be able to explore their surroundings in a new way using PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers.
The DLC free Resident Evil Village VR will be released alongside PlayStation VR2 on February 22.
