The period might not be more beautiful for Resident Evil fans: the near future of the saga will pass through several alluring games and content that deserve a good showcase to be highlighted. Good news then, since Capcom has just announced it.
Say hello to the Resident Evil Showcase
Fashion is definitely showcases: last night, for example, we had the Call of Duty Next (which took the liberty of revealing Call of Duty Warzone 2, to name but one) and earlier this week, another dedicated to the Yakuza series with the brand new figurehead game. Now, it’s the turn of the Resident Evil saga to be entitled to it.
The Tokyo Game Show 2022 will therefore have allowed Capcom to highlight the Resident Evil Showcase, a show entirely devoted to the horror license which will take place in October. Unfortunately, no specific date is given at this time.
Resident Evil 4 on the program, and not only
The opportunity will therefore be found for the Osaka firm to show its future Resident Evil projects. We obviously think of Resident Evil 4the famous remake of the 2004 cult game which will also be released on PlayStation 4 in addition to PC, PS4 and Xbox Series; Resident Evil Village in its Gold Edition should also appearhe who will offer a solo extension with the daughter of Ethan Winters, a 3rd person mode… and virtual reality for the PSVR 2.
For the rest, we have to rely on speculation, but we can also count on the return Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer game that was announced quite a while ago and ultimately never released. As well as other surprises, perhaps concerning cinema or pop-culture? We hope so!
