This year on March 24, 2023 that should Remake of Resident Evil 4 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Fans have worried regarding the execution of the remake, fearing that Capcom might drop the game’s infamous island portion. This concern is not entirely unjustified, because entire sections were removed in the third part, which received a remake in 2020.

Finally there is an all clear. The island part remains in Resident Evil 4 in the remake. That emerges from the recent statements by Capcom employees, which Twitter user Dusk Golem summarized and shared. In EDGE magazine, developers of the project explained how they went regarding producing the remake.

According to them, the studio was divided into three teams, each of which should take care of one of the main sections of the game. These are The Village, The Castle and The Island. In the end, the three parts were brought together and then coordinated once more.
The island is said to have “much more to offer” than in the original game. However, there are no details regarding this extension. So we don’t know if the island is bigger or has more content or enemies.
