The suspect in the Gangnam kidnapping and murder case, Mr. Lee (35), had his residence and his parents’ residence searched and seized by the police. The Seoul Suseo Police Station made the announcement on the 4th. Mr. Lee’s lawyer, who spoke with him at the police station that followingnoon, reported that not much was found during the search, except for one collagen syringe found at the parents’ residence. The lawyer claimed that Mr. Lee’s wife, who is a nurse, likely had the syringe for daily use. The lawyer also addressed the several mobile phones found in Mr. Lee’s residence, saying they were simply equipment he had used and that he was unaware of the victim’s cell phone being among them. Additionally, the police searched a plastic surgery clinic in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where Mr. Lee’s wife worked as a nurse. The purpose was to investigate the source of the syringe and anesthetic that might have been used in the crime. However, the police are also considering the possibility that Mr. Lee’s wife had stolen the anesthetic.

On the 4th, the Seoul Suseo Police Station announced that it had conducted a search and seizure of Mr. Lee’s residence and the residence of Mr. Lee’s parents.
In this regard, Mr. Lee’s lawyer, who interviewed Mr. Lee at the Suseo Police Station on the followingnoon of the same day, claimed, “(During the seizure and search process), not much was found,” but “About one collagen syringe was found in the residence of Mr. Lee’s parents.”
He added, “(My wife) is a nurse, so it can be said that she has (collagen syringes) on a daily basis.
Regarding the several mobile phones found in Mr. Lee’s residence earlier, he insisted that “it was only a collection of equipment that Mr. Lee had used.” Among them, he said, “I don’t know and I don’t think there will be” regarding the possibility of the victim’s cell phone.
Meanwhile, the police also raided a plastic surgery clinic in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where Mr. Lee’s wife works as a nurse.
It was to confirm the source of the syringe and anesthetic drug that may have been used in this crime, but the police are looking into the possibility that Mr. Lee’s wife stole the anesthetic.
