El Cruce Hospital, through the Center for Translational Medicine (CEMET), obtained funding for research projects. They were awarded to Unit 4 by Dr. Alejandro Berra and the Executing Unit for Studies in Neurosciences and Complex Systems (ENyS) by Dr. Paula González.
“It is very important for the Hospital since they contribute to consolidating and strengthening basic research and translational medicine-oriented research, which are strategic axes for the territory and our patients,” explained CEMET coordinator Viviana Fanessi.
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Nation through the National Agency for the Promotion of Research, Development and Innovation PICT (Scientific Technological Research Projects) was the one who granted the financing to the projects presented and won by HEC-CEMET .
