The last chance appeal… Sofico launches a final call for interest with a view to repurposing the buildings of the Hondelange motorway area (E 411). No applications having been submitted during the two previous calls for tender, we can legitimately doubt that this one will be more successful.
As a reminder, the current concession expires this Sunday, October 1st.
The site includes the restaurant deck, the hotel and the tourist pavilion.
A single permit application for the demolition of the buildings on the site is being prepared.
While waiting to obtain the permit, Sofico has therefore launched this last call for interest. “The demolition of infrastructure might still be avoided if a project compatible with the site was submitted and accepted by the time the demolition permit is obtained.“, explains Sofico in a press release.
What regarding securing the premises? As manager, Sofico is obliged to ensure the security of the site. She therefore informs that a security service and security of the site in terms of access to the building will be put in place from October 1st.
